I am outta Holywood PS 10yrs now, as is my elder brother, but I definately have good memories of the old place! Seems to have changed quite abit, but good to see some of the old faithfuls still there!

i really like holywood because the teachers are really nice and the sports are cool too.

Thank you to all your wonderful pupils and staff who made me feel so welcome during your recent Open Day. The school looked fantastic - there are lots of learning opportunities for the pupils and there is a real warmth about the place.

I was one of the first pupils to attend the Primary when it opened in - was it 1954?
Prior to that I spent my first year at the Parochial School.
The headmaster was Mr O'Reilly from Monaghan who taught my mother when she attended the Parochial School in the 1930's.

Thanks for your email. It was great to hear your news. As far as I am aware our school was opened in 1956. We had a wonderful year of celebrations for our 50th anniversary with some fabulous pictures and documents from over the years.

I am very proud of my daughter Lauren Lamont who is in P5 R7 as she was awarded the merit badge. Holywood Primary should be very proud of their achievements as all the pupils seem happy and content.... We are always glad to support the school......

hello everyone. Sullivan is really great but sometimes confusing because every half an hour you move class and u have 2 remember where 2 go and there is assembly EVERY day! Mrs Worthington u really r the best but i'm not saying that the rest of u are not, anyway gd luck to all u big P7's and take my advice the hard work will pay off.

hello my name is jordan i used to go to holywood primary school!! :D i really miss it thought lol i now go to sullivan upper school which i would highly recomend to any P.7's making there school choices soon. when i went to holywood primary i won competition! it was that you had to right a poem based on William Wordsworth's poem Daffodils and i won a video camera for the school and i was just wondering how that was working out?
i would also like to make a suggestion that you would take up some more cross country events for i thorougly love running and i have been very successful in that particular sport and when i was at holywood primary we never did any of the cross country events and regret not asking to enter it before. well happy 50th and i might pay you a visit soon
